Emmett Drake

Emmett Drake is Dept. Chair for Large Ensembles and Director of Suzuki Orchestras at the Hartt School Community Division, as well as the Director of Orchestras at Hall and Conard High Schools in West Hartford, CT.  In demand as a clinician and guest conductor, some of his recent guest conducting appearances include the Broward County "Gold" Orchestra (FL), TMEA Region 2 All-Region Orchestra (TX), Suzuki Youth Orchestra of the Americas (MN), and the Hartford Symphony Orchestra.  As a composer/arranger- his music is performed frequently by orchestras all over the country.
